According to Hunan Daily in June 29th, the three-day China-Africa Economic and Trading Expo (short as CAETE) has concluded today. The organizing committee held a press conference. As CAETE secretariat deputy secretary general Jianjun Luo announced, the first CAETE driven the cooperation between China and Africa in trading, agriculture, manufacturing, service industry, financial industry and infrastructure.

During CAETE meeting,Chinese and African government, states-owned businesses, private enterprises, financial organizations, business associations, and NGOs signed 84 cooperation agreements with the principle of consulting together, constructing together, and sharing together. These agreements Includes trading, investment, infrastructure, agriculture, manufacturing industry, aviation, tourism, sister-city, and etc., involving capital reaching to 20.8 billion USD.

The CAETE attracted attentions from all Chinese and African representatives and related international organizations. Over 1600 foreign guests, 5000 domestic guests, 3500 home and aboard exhibitors, buyers, and professional audiences were presented. The visitor scale exceeded 10000, covered 53 African countries that have established diplomatic relations, 31 provinces and municipalities in China, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. More than 10 international organizations and institutions, including UNIDO and WTO, 8 financial institutions, over 150 first-class central enterprises and their subsidiaries, and nearly 800 domestic key enterprises attended the conference.
